I finally got this blog set up and looking as spiffy as possible. I will not completely abandon my family blog (on Shutterfly), but it will be used for family pictures, videos and updates only. I know some of my family members get tired of looking at a bunch of people they don't know! I'm kind of thinking, "Wow. That's a lot of blogging. Do I really think I'm that important?" The answer is yes, I'm kind of a big deal. HAHA...I'm absolutely, 100% kidding. Until next post...

Welcome to my blog! Have a look to view my most recent work and inform yourself on current specials and/or updates concerning Erica Sledge Photography. If you've never heard of me, I'm new to the photography scene in the Midland/ Odessa area. It sounds very cliche, but it's true...I'm passionate about photography. It is the Ranch dressing on my pizza! Many nights, I dream in Photoshop.
I am an on-site portrait photographer, meaning that the client can designate a location for our photo session or I can find one for them based on the style of portrait they desire. Clients can request indoor portraits, outdoor portraits, or both. Natural light is the main factor, as it provides for the best photos. Therefore, indoor photos must be taken in a room with adequate natural light or, at least, near a window or door. Don't let that intimidate you, though. You'd be surprised how much is actually "adequate".
I will soon have a website up and running containing helpful information, photo galleries, prices, and online proofing. Until then, feel free to call or email me with any questions or to schedule your portrait session. Happy viewing.
